About Christie

Hi, I’m Christie Block. I’m a licensed and board-certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who specializes in helping people with their voice, speech, and swallowing. I established New York Speech & Voice Lab in order to provide an independent service in a small setting with my own vision. In doing so, I have been able to fully express my genuine support for each person that I meet. I have been able to commit to my signature work, while also integrating novel modalities such as comprehensive manual therapy. My experience allows me to adapt to your individual needs and learning style so that you can make meaningful, lasting progress.
